    Genesee Manufacturing , America’s leading manufacturer of adjustable inserted blade hollow mills for over 70 years, proudly introduces GEN-DEX®, the first uniformly adjustable, positive rake, indexable insert hollow mill. Our unique combination of tool body, insert holder and insert geometry maintains constant axial and radial rake and clearance over the full range of diametrical adjustment.

    Standard Tools: Precision hardened and ground tool bodies and insert holders combined with precision “C” tolerance ISO inserts enable you to hold ±.001” on finishing cuts with no additional adjustment of the hollow mill required after indexing.

    GEN-DEX® inserts, with or without positive raised island chipbreaker, are stocked in many combinations of grade, edge preparation, nose radius and coatings.



    Special Tools: Genesee offers fully supported GEN-DEX® tools with less adjustability for applications where depth of cut exceeds .150” per side. For such heavy cuts, for difficult materials or interrupted cuts, always consult Genesee as a special tool may be needed. We are pleased to quote completely special GEN-DEX® tools on application.
